AP Projects
Arial photography can be a big part of FPV. Placing a
still/video (AP/AVP) camera along with FPV gear can help get the picture
your looking for. This page is dedicated to Arial Photography projects with
or without FPV.
Even though you can capture a frame from a video it won't have the quality of a still frame from a regular high mega pixel camera so for this reason a still frame camera can be nice add-on to a RC plane or Helicopter.

![]() The EasyStar makes a good AP plane also. I take this camping and plan on using it on trips to the desert to help locate Ruins and Old Mines from the sky. The Samsung DVR Camcorder has very high resolution and fits snugly into the stock canopy pointing slightly downward. The fact this plane is simple makes it a big winner for camping trips with take apart 2 piece wing. Along with belly landing and rear mounted prop is another reason it makes a good portable AP/AVP platform. I added ailerons to help with turning and a brushless out-runner motor with a 3 cell Lipo to sporty it up a bit. I won't be painting it or adding any decals since the terrain it will be landing in is brutal. Mojave Gold Mine thread: Gold Mine Hunting Photo Crash9
